The 3rd string (G standard tuning) on my Ibanez has good intonation everywhere except the first and second fret. They are both sharp. And its dead on at the 12th fret. I thought maybe the string height at the nut was off but it looks fine in relation to the other strings. Also, not sure if this is related but this string is also very sensitive as far as tuning goes, the slightest turn of the tuner drastically changes the pitch where as every other string is more gradual. I have 4 good windings on the tuning peg so I don't think thats a problem. The strings are only 2-3 weeks old. They are DR 10's. Any ideas?

Check for fret wear at those frets.

its possible that the string can be bad, but its more than likely an issue on the fret... id say check it for wear and stuff like that, and if you cant find anything yourself bring it to a tech

Well nothing appears wrong with the frets that I can see anyway. If the problem is still there after a new set of strings I may have to have it looked at.
