Just got their album Big Iron World a couple days ago. 'Tis great. I like how they're a modern string band that plays in the old time style as opposed to bluegrass. My favorite thing I have heard from them is their verson of "Tear it Down" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HM2Ku0lmvWs

Great band. I love the stuff they have done with Gillian Welch. I still keep forgeting to get their stuff when I am on a shopping spree.

Awesome cover with Gillian Welch and David Rawlings

'Wagon Wheel' is awesome too

Wagon Wheel is excellent. I'm actually going to see them Friday in DC. Should be a good time!
I don't even care to shake these zipper blues...

They have a weird popularity over other string bands which is strange because they are actually real traditional. I also don't know why people like "Wagon Wheel" so much more than their other songs. Also if you don't know it started as a Bob Dylan song and they added some lyrics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JfzbqmOwkk

He never released though so power to them for bringing a song into the light that would have otherwise stayed in obscurity.
