Is it legal to install Photoshop CS3 on 2 different computers. Reason I ask is my dad is a photographer and he's buying a copy. I currently have CS2 and would like to upgrade but don't have the money right now. So yeah, legal or not?

If you own the computers, and it's for personal use. Yes. Unless there's something in the TOS about one computer exclusively.

Everything's legal until they find you. Photoshop's probably one of the most pirated program anyway.

How would they find him anyway?

Yeah, I know it's not likely but he actually does make money off of some of his work so if someone were to find out he would be in deeper shit than say someone who just torrented it.

As long as you use photoshop for personal use and not commercially, then they don't care.

C'mon, man. We're just kidding. We all know that drummers are important.

After all, without drummers, who would bag my groceries?

Yeh, Adobe should be happy you bought ONE copy.

if it weren't so rediculously expensive they'd probably sell a lot more copies and thus make more money than selling it at its current price?

If you own it, they can't say no. Of course it's a different story if you're giving it to someone else. You should be good.

I dunno, many people wont even buy a $10 CD anymore.
