yeah, at that sort of cost, you might as well get a new neck made with your pretty inlays.
because removing inlays and replacing them isnt exactly your regular check up sort of thing, and if you're still going to do that, you should try and find someone who's really qualified. who is not going to come cheap

well i wanted to know this cause im choosing between the ibanez rg1570 and rg2550e and i love the inlays on the 2550e but in aus its $600 more then the 1570 while in the U.S its onli a hundred different. so u think i should just dish out the extra 600 for the rg2550e?

If you really want those inlays then yea it would be easier and probably cheaper to get em in the guitar to begin with. A guitar with dots isnt easy to put the sharktooth inlays in. The holes whee the dots were would not be covered by the new inlays.
