Hello to the UG Community! First time poster here

So, the Curtis Mayfield song I'm trying to play is from the Superfly soundtrack. But nevermind that it's a "soundtrack" because it is completely and solely the genius of Mayfield himself and is widely considered by many to be one of the greatest albums of all time. Every song in my opinion is a masterpiece, but the one that became my favorite (and would be on my "Top 5" greatest songs of all time) is "No Thing on Me (Cocaine Song)." I would be more than happy to e-mail the mp3 to anyone who thinks they might be able to help because figuring out a good way to play this song on guitar has been a living hell for me (but I'm still relatively a novice/intermediate). Can anyone please help?

Even just having the chords would be awesome. I suspect it might just be alternating between the same 2 for most of the song, but I think they have suspensions or some special formation.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as it would help me get to sleep tonight

"I'm so glad I've got my own,
so glad that I can see.
My life's a natural high,
the man can't put no thing on me."

Try alternating between these for that part you quoted, two bars for each?:
e----------------------------------------------------
b----6-----------------------10-------------------------
g----7-----------------------10-------------------------
d----8-----------------------10------------------------
a----x-------------------------8------------------------
e----8------------------------------------------------
