I most definitely need one of these. What are some good ones that have expandable memory (Flash mem, etc)? If possible, I'd like the ability to store a full library of phrases to practice over.

Is the Boss loop pedal trash? Does it have expandeable mem?

Boss is not junk... awesome pedal but not expandable memory... I mean the RC-2 by the way.

Don't get the RC-2, it's pretty lame.

I mean, it works, but a Jam Man looks much easier to use to me.

Jam Man if you must have external memory.

If not, EHX Stereo Memory Man or Akai Headrush E2.

I agree with the Jam Man bit, but if he doesn't need the external memory, than an RC-20 would work nicely.

There's a big difference between the RC-2, RC-20, and RC-50 (?)....

The JamMan is actually harder to use, I felt. The delete and reverse/doubler features are much easier on the Boss.
