their necks are garbage and the tone has something to be desired, although it's a cool concept, they're toys made for 8 year olds

Well you could look into mini-amps...I had one the size of a card deck... so small the speaker only had distortion. I can't remember where my brothter got it though.

I'm assuming you want just something to take around for fun...

Don't do it it will just be regretable waste of £200, if you want something to play on the move just get a mini amp and save yourself the cash.
Kit:

Tanglewood TW28STR
PRS Soapbar SE II
Epiphone LP100

Sorta reminds of the idea of those old Amp-in-case guitars from the 60's... only not as nice.

Lmao, Seriosuly though I had one... I put in the pocked on my guitar case to get it around.

Nah, your missing the point!

I want to just carry a really small guitar where I want and play it.
Especially as I've been biking long distances it would be useful to have something small with me to play.

Get an uke, and some companies make ukuleles that have 6 strings

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
