Got a new guitar, crafter crown dx...got a TRS101 trem on it, has takeuchi stamped on it...been told by jemsite that its pretty damn good, and to be honest i find it VERY good!

I basically put it in drop d, all setup good, been doing this for years...

Basically...i can hardly find any drop d songs.
Ive got all older trivium, lostprophets...but thats where my mind draws a blank?!?!

Any bands along the hard rock, metal, screamo stuff...that would help alot..

Also i dont have much of an upward pull on the trem, the wood on the rear recess with the springs is quite sh***y and small, so you get about 5mm of travel!
is it worth carving out a bit more space so i can do the usual children of bodom/pantera trem dives/pulls

cheers

Oops! Forgot about that. I'm lazy and can't be bothered to detune all my strings, so I just tune to drop and bar it up, haha.

Children of bodom have songs in D standard and drop C, probably a few other tunings... but it's usually one of these two tunings

wow...there are so many songs in all sorts of genres in drop d. I don't see how you CAN'T find one.

from my knowledge, they have never used drop d. they almost always use drop C, D standard, and C standard, and i think even lower for the old stuff
