I just think nirvana are shit, shit tone, shit music, shit lyrics, popstar wannabe frontman...don't trust their fans when giving me musical advice because our tastes are just very different. don't be offended, just into different things thats all.

I am just concerned that people are still in over excited mode because they have a new piece of gear. It happens all the time, people buy something, think its great at first then later realise actually its garbage.

So you are going to disregard his suggestion because he likes Nirvana?

No need to get angry just because he has a different music taste than you. Just because he listens to Nirvana doesn't mean that he knows nothing about tone.

why would you say that? You as for help and you show disrespect to those that are trying to help you and to human life. For one thing the music may have been simple but it was very well written and has shaped a lot of todays music, nirvana did some decent tunes especially unplugged. Your a prick basically so i hope no one helps you

lol typical, i don't like all metal bands do i!! Lok just **** off, i don't giv a **** what any of you nirvana fans say. we are obviously very different people if you like that shit.

Cobain has done a lot to totally **** up and commercialise the alternative music scene. he is a skid mark on the whole music industry.

lol yes we are ghey fanboys who love nirvana :P im not even a big fan of nirvana, just respect some of the stuff they did and respect human beings enough to find the glorification of a persons suicide very insulting, no matter who it is, you were a douche for saying it simple as that. Have respect for people ffs, this guy was trying to help you and just because he likes nirvana doesnt mean he knows nothing about tone, your an idiot for even thinking such a thing and makes you the bigger fanboy.

He actually didn't do anything to commercialize the music industry. All he did was write music that a lot of people liked and therefore people bought it.

You're one of the biggest assholes I've seen on this forum. You ask for help, a person gives you advice, and you tell him to **** off because he likes Nirvana...

Wrong!, he was part of the mtv generation. he went on uk programmes such as top of the pops, he regularly posed for magazines. he was a pop star parading as an alternative rock star. tosser.

also i didn't actually tell the nirvana guy to **** off originally. i just stated that a nirvana fan won't have similar ideas about music and tone as me and i ma probably right. so go **** yourselves. whats the point in us all pretending that we can get along musically with people who are into stuff we totally despise. i was ust talking some sense.

also **** you to all these other ****s getting on my case. what should i have done? just said oh right thansk for the advice? then kind of totally disregard it? **** that, i will speak my mind thanks.

so much for this thread being dead eh.

lol you are clearly one of those losers that doesnt like something unless its alternative and different cos you wanna be an "individual". So what if he was popular!? thats because his music was good and lots of people enjoyed it, how does him being on top of the pops suddenly make him s*** and deserve to die? And how does that make this guys opinion void? I bet most of the bands you like would actually say nirvana influenced them in some way or that they liked them, and if the bands you like could they would be all over magazines and tv and stuff, its only because they are nothing amazing that they arent. Your logic is twisted and your attitude pathetic.

Sepulturick, you need to be civilized when addressing others' opinions. This is a place for friendly discussion and if you can't figure that out, I will ban you.
