I got my behringer ubb1002 yesterday but 1st off , where do i connect my guitar and second where do i connect it for it to get through to the computer? Im a N00BZ at this kinda stuff.

The best way, quality wise, is to get this and plug it directly into your computer. The mixer is near useless to record guitars...I recommend sending it back.

Well, if you don't have an audio interface you can go from the main output to the line in on your PC. You'll need an adapter to go from RCAs to a 1/4" mini jack. I wouldn't epect good sounding results from this setup, but it's worth a try.

What are you hoping to achieve by plugging your guitar into a mixer?

well its temporary because i havent got any money to buy a lead for my shure sm57 so i cant use that until then

Well, on that mixer channels 1 and 2 are labeled mono and have a "line in" just under the XLR (mic) connection. You could plug in there... it may sound a bit bland though.
