Okay, so im adding a FR to my strat copy.....probably is, I haven't routed it yet. Routing is not the problem, the problem is, is that the body is primed and ready for paint and I just now realized i'd have to rout. I don't have the trem yet, but what I was wondering is there like a template that i can stick on the guitar and go ahead and rout without the actual trem being here??? that way I can go ahead and paint. I can't paint until its routed as it could possible crack the finish (not good). So what do you suggest? shall I just be patient until I get the trem here?

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
