Is there a song that I can play that I would have heard before......with having no skills what so ever....I was hoping to find a song that has no chords or any double strings for that matter...just something I can start to learn with and get a feel for my first guitar and most of all a motivation booster....

Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes.
and i sit and wonder, falling under .

My motivation booster was "Horse With No Name", but since I don't know if you like older music (80's, myabe?)...I only offer help.

"Satisfaction" be the Rolling Stones is easy. Might be called "Can't Get no Satisfaction" I'm not sure
Now officially has too much gear to list

PM me if you want to know about my recording setup

keeping coming man!! I'm making a list...

If you want some foregin songs...I can toss those in as well...as a lot of the Japanese music I listen to is pretty easy.

hitching a ride by greenday ummm mollys chambers by kings of leon is pretty easy, fell in love with a girl by the white stripes
punk rock 101 by bowling for soup is easy but you have to tune your thickest string down two frets to D so that might be a little tricky?

time of your life ( or whatever its called) by greenday is a good one to learn to get chicks.

Mr. Roboto by Styx.

Absolutely no solos, and sure, there may double/triple string notes, but really they don't have much of a challenge to them. Just look at the tab.

It's also a pretty fun song to listen to. I guess the guitar isn't the most important part of the song (I think that'd be the keyboard/synthesizer), but it is pretty easy at that and still makes the song.

I dont know if this sounds weird or not but i dont think my fingers are trained yet to hold down more than one string at a time

You should learn Animal I have Become - Three Days Grace. It's not on the beginner's list. But it is one hell of an easy song. the main riff will probably mess you up, but once you get that it'll be easy. And the good part is you can learn the entire song, there's no solo or anything hard. Just get that main riff and learn to hold down 3 strings at once and you've got it.

The first one's i learned were iron man, and smoke on the water (single string version) as a week passed or so i started using the power chords. My motivation booster(s) were probably, Are You Gonna Be My Girl by jet. or that dragon ball z theme song (Rock the Dragon) which both consist of classic rock power chords

The first song I did was Wish you were here by pink floyd. But you need to know a few chords for that one. I've also been working on Iron Man, but I wouldn't say the solo is easy (I haven't really tried it, just looked at the tabs and looked like a handful).

You're not going to be able to jump straight in and start learning songs, it doesn't work like that...pretty much every song ever written involves chords in some shape or form, certainly all the easiest ones do. You're going to have to first spend some time simply getting used to the feel of the guitar and learning some basics.

Forget songs for the time being, concentrate on learning some basic chords and doing some simple exercises, they'll help you build a bit of finger strength and dexterity.

I feel bad looking at porn simply because of the ol' story that a lot of those girls were molested as children, But I've never heard of midgets being molested, so it doesn't matter to me anymore, as that's the only kind of porn I watch.

No prob, that was the first full song I learned lol. And oh the joys you can have when you edit the song file to 2x speed and play it...

Blister In The Sun by the Violent Femmes.
Like, the intro.
But I dunno if any songs go the full way through on single notes, other than carols and such.

'Sweet Dreams' by Marilyn Manson is very easy. The solo there was the first solo I learned, very easy too.

As stated before, "Californiacation" has an easy riff and its a great beginner song to play from beginning to end. "Never Too Late" from Three Days Grace is easy from beginning to end. "Killing In The Name" is also very easy.

Flyleaf has some really easy songs, I'm So Sick was the first full song i learned.

forget what everyone has said. Play Greensleves on the thinest two strings. Dead easy and you should have heard it before. I think anyone who has never picked up a guitar should get this on their first go.
