one of these built in:

How difficult would it be to modify a guitar to work with one of those?

I know it's possible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OD1tgc-W1QQ
at about 2:40

I'm also looking for a relatively cheap method.. So I'm not really sure at all what I should be doing, this would be my first venture past doing anything other than playing my dads guitar.

edit: I guess I should mention I'd be planning to put it into my dads electric guitar, if that's even possible.

you gotta take the touch pad out and put it on your guitar, then have a cable that connects the touch pad to the wires which you disconnected it from.
BTW thats not the one that Matt Bellamy uses.....

it just seems like they all came at once. some guy bumped about 5 old threads that had to do with them so they all came to the top.
i used to be a mod, then i took an arrow in the knee.
