Just dropped my guitar to Drop C.

Give me some good songs that sound good in Drop C, prefferably metal sort of shit, heavy you know. Also im around high end beginner/starting intermediate sort of player.

the entire 1919 eternal album by black label society!

Try learning Lords of Destruction first

and of course.. learn by ear if you can
#4
Rose of Sharon by Killswitch engage is fairly easy, try some other KSE aswell but sometimes they get a bit tricky.

Also Who the **** Taught You Snaps? by Carpathian is pretty sick

If you sift through some "metalcore" bands you'll probably find something nice

EDIT: ^ yeah system of a down go hard aswell.

A lot of metalcore is in drop C, i cant really specify the bands as i cant remember.theres a tunings thread in the metal forum, which can help you.
most of metallica's st.anger is in drop C,if you want to learn that.
Uncle Vernon, Uncle Vernon,
independent as a hog on ice,
He's a big shot down there at the slaughterhouse,
Plays accordion for Mr. Weiss

Children of Bodom with 2 songs on HCDR, and everything on AYDY and Blooddrunk
Some Cradle of Filth, 2 most recent albums
Only two I can think off the top of my head

Also, St. Anger :P

Do you mean CFB#E#GC or CGCFAD?

You can try some Kyuss if you want heavy stuff with a twist if it is the first or System of a down if it is the latter. And I think the album White Pony by Deftones are in the latter as well.

If you are refering to the Avenged Sevenfold song - 'Unholy confessions' , that is not in drop C, Drop D rather.

Not many people know of this band, but most of Ill Nino's songs are in drop C I think.
and i sit and wonder, falling under .

I though unholy confession is in drop D???

it is. all A7X songs from waking the fallen to current are in drop D or standard

bullet and atreyu's older stuff is good.
the real heavy stuff tends to be in drop d tuned down a tone and a half, (drop B)
