hey guys... I have jazz band tryouts tomorrow and the band director just gave me the scales to learn yesterday. I learned 3 of them last night and they're pretty clean, but i'm having trouble with the last 3. I can read music but it takes me a while. I just can't relate it to the guitar. So what i need to know how to play is this:

A-Flat Diminished (half-whole)
A Dorian (with passing tone)
C Melodic Minor (with passing tone)

Can anyone give me a hand?

just scales, look them up. I'm in my school jazz band and I dont know why they would want you doing scales since you'd be part of the rhythm section, I just do chords with the occasional lead bit.
