every time i plug my cord from my guitar into my amp i get that loud buzzing you would get if something touched the tip of the cord, and thats all i get unless i play with the cord for about a minute.
anyone know how i could fix this?

Post in the right forum.
Then buy a new cable.
There is a short in the cable. You could attempt to open it up and solder the broken connection if you feel like it.

well to those who said buy a new one im broke and all my money is going towards concerts so im stuck with this cord for a while.

Check your jack input on the guitar if you feel the cord is really loose in there.
