how much difference does a graphite or bone nut make compaired to a plastic one?

lol @ thread title

bone is better for non-trem bridges
graphite is for trem bridges.
both are a million times better than cheap plastic nuts.

About $9 at a guess

Its also the way its cut, a grahite nut with tight slots that grip the string is just as bad as a cheap plastic one,

but ultimatly a well cut graphite nut is much better, self lubricating for bending and trem use and doesnt grab the strings.
