Which one do you like best? Personally I prefer the solid colors. I like the simplicity, and how it doesn't show smudges as much (as long as it is a light shade)

This should be a poll.

That said, I like stained/dyed guitars the most. Full on solid red, black or blue can grow so dull on me...

I used to be a fan of solid colours, then I decided wood was much more interesting.

I like the bursted finishes.

On most guitars, solid finish show fingerprints much more. With burst you have the fading colors that help hide it. All the different wood grain patterns really camoflauge them as well.

I prefer bursts, but only really on some guitars. A nice sunburst really wouldn't look nice on an Ibanez or a Dean Razorback.

I always love seeing the natural grain of the wood whether in a transparent, stained or bursted finish.

Burst, on a Flame or Quilt Maple Top.

Or any transparent with a Flame or Quilt top.

Satin.
Satin necks FTW IMO.

Holy shit, this guy. Nothing is more comfortable than a satin finished instrument.

Indeed. That's why my Jackson's satin finished.

So this isn't spam...
See-Through Blue or Black on Flame Maple with a slight Black burst, and satin finished(a la Jon Donais ESP sig). You get the see-through flame maple without the finger smudges.

^ exactly, depends on which guitar. On a strat or LP I love bursts/tones...on pretty much anything else I prefer a solid color.

Burst or solid , they both look cool and horrible sometimes .

I voted burst
