If I have an effects software such as Amplitude to Amplitude metal, can I hook my guitar up to my PC as well as my amp? Or do I just have to stick with my PC speakers?

im not really sure about this, but i thought id tell you you could get some nice p.a. speakers and run your comp into them

I do it all the time. My tube amps didn't sound right so I use my old ROLAND 50-watt SS - I set the amp clean - turn off the cabs in Amplitube (bypass button on the cab) and ROCK OUT... sounds great!
Now running an Eleven Rack with Pro Tools 10.3.3 - it's amazing and I'm having ball with it - worth every penny. PT 10 is tops IMO and the Eleven Rack is a work of art!
