I can afford both guitars, ive played both and like them equally.

im asking UG because from what i hear, Gibsons are overpriced and some people dont think there worth buying. So should i save same money and go with the schecter? or pay for a gibson

SG FTW!

That's what I'd get, but you should buy the one that feels and sounds the best to you.

This.
Did you know the odds of a Vault-Tec shelter failing are 1,763,497 to 1?

So imagine life in a Vault-Tec Vault. Not just a future.
A brighter future... underground.

fer sure

everyone and their grandma has an SG

Tempests are cooler
and aren't as blown up as gibsons are.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

IDK, get the SG but make it white with a bulls-eye.

Oh wait, Tony Iommi + Zakk Wylde rip-off

...Still, get the SG. It's a great rock guitar.

i own an sg standard and it's one hell of a rock guitar, but the tempest is more visually pleasing, with that maple top and ebony fingerboard, plus it has better pickups imo.

schecter generally makes very good guitars, however im not familiar with this particular model playing/sound/reliability wise so i can't say. i can vouch for the sg though, it does sound great and can take a beating.

go and play both

I like this guy, he's UG's Greek, and he just told your ass in two paragraphs. And I once spent 5 minutes watching his avatar.
