This is a short instrumental played on acoustic, check it out in my profile: drive 3 (acoustic)

Update: listen to drive 4 if you'd like.. its a little more refined. I can't honestly say its BETTER than drive 3 though. You be the judge.

there is an extra triple beat at 1:03 and another at 1:43, somehow they got in there but i think it works well
all feedback always appreciated and c4c

I like it a lot. It's got a good full sound with those little octaves thrown in there everywhere and the percussive hits really add to the song, making it so much better. Maybe it could use a little more rythmic variety, but that's just me. Also you sped it up a little bit, maybe next time record with a metronome. Overall it was pretty good. Oh yeah and it was a good job on production, considering that it doesn't sound like it was done on an ansering machine like so many other acoustic tracks I've heard on this site.

Thanks for the crit. I took some advice from ya into consideration and re-recorded the track today. There aren't many differences, I still didn't use a metronome (I tried but I couldnt play this to it). I play it a little faster and I think more consistently from start to finish. I added a nice intro (lol), and threw in a lot of little gallop/triple beat rhythms where I could. Rhythmic variety of the kind where I change my "bass drum" is probably not going to happen. I anchor everything in the song around it, and when I try to change it I just end up messing up really bad.

This song is tough for me because I always record it in one take, and the hardest part is fighting fatigue. It's just very tiring on me to play it. Nonetheless, I gave it a good shot. It's called Drive 4 (Ferrari+Acoustic). You'll see why, lol.
