hi, i was wondering today, i want to get a guitar to put permenantly in drop b, so if i bought a baritone guitar (probs an esp one) and changed the tuning from b standard to drop b, would i need to do anything other than re do the intonation?

would there be any neck or string snapping problems etc?

thanks guys,

No, not really. Drop B is still really low, and baritones are designed to cope with that.

I had a similar question earlier except I was going for Drop C instead of B.

I think as long as you compensate string guage/truss rod adjustment for the slightly higher tension you/we will be alright.

edit: I do own a 28" scale baritone.
