ok, about a month ago, i got Crysis for PC. when i called today to return it for spore (because it didnt work), walmart said they could not return it for store credit due to federal copyright laws. they told me to call gamestop because they could trade it in. when i called GS they said they could not trade in PC games. does anybody else know where i could trade in PC games in the US? please tell me a franchise which they would likely have a location in Denver

Go to the Gaming Thread, but in general you can't trade in PC games.

If it doesn't work, shouldn't you be allowed to return it?

no because of suspicion of copying games onto your computer.

ebay is your best bet.

problem is with games like crysis, they have to be registered to a user, and once they are registered, they can't be played to the full extent (I.E. Multiplayer) by any other user. If the box is opened, they HAVE to assume you have installed it and registered it, meaning if they buy it and sell it on, the next person who plays it only gets to play the single player, and with some games not even that.
