Ok this is freakin me out. I have two versions of the song For the Love of God by Steve Vai.

One is LIVE off of a CD copy

The other is a DOWNLOAD directly from iTunes

BOTH make the same noise that seems COMPLETELY out of place in the song at the EXACT same time. 00:48

The sound sounds like a short telephone ring.

It happens other times in the song but the one at 00:48 is just as reference

Is this ment to be there? do other peoples copies of the song have this? Why is it on the live AND album versions???

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

It's one of the instruments. It's supposed to add a more atmospheric affect I guess. I don't think it's that out of place, but it's not that 'awesome' either.

Does it sound like "wa wa wa"? Cause that doesn't resemble a phone to me at all. Perhaps the more common phone ring is different here then Australia.

Its probably on the live version also, because he guitar synchs his songs like Brittney Lip Sings her song.
