So I wrote this song a while back that has a really messed up tuning... its like D-G-E-B-Db-Eb and every time I tried to use it the G string broke... so I stopped trying to play it.
And I'm trying to figure out if there's a different, more simple tuning I could use. I have a capo, so that's always a possibility...
Anyone have any ideas? =]

Why did you write a song in a tuning like that? :S

Ok
If you want that tuning the try this:
Tune to:
e 3 steps down to Db
B
G 2 steps up to A
D
A 4 steps down to F
E 4 steps down to C

Then put a capo on the second fret
That should work without causing your strings undue stress
The tuning should work, let me know if I've made any mistakes
