This is a little song i wrote for a little jam I'll probably do on 27 September...
I know the quality sucks...
The song is instrumental, i wanted to play the last part with an acoustic, but i just don't know why not xD...
Critique it please... and i will return the favor

Sounds really cool, I like the pulsating drone in the background (keyboard?) it adds a lot of atmosphere. I assume thats the aim of the track, well mixed and the guitar tones are fluid.
I can't really fault the recording or instrumentation.

The song might need a little more variation though, I don't know what Cliff Burton is supposed to sound like so I can't crit too hard on that.

Thanks for the feedback on mine!

A few of the guitar parts are reminiscent of I Miss You by Incubus. Which is probably accidental, but oddly appropriate for a tribute...

I like it. The guitar tones are how I like my women - warm and creamy. I especially like the little repeated run thing around the 1:40 mark and on. I think this would work well for a Western movie soundtrack. It elicits images of two lone gunmen coming out for an early morning duel.

Sweet job dude.

I liked it. Even though it was supposed to be a tribute to Cliff it sounded more remenecent of Justin Chancellor from Tool, but that might just be me

The only thing I can say is that it sounded like it was just different parts thrown together and they didn't flow together but that might just be the way you wanted it to me. It was still very good though.

Hi,

This sounds cool.. Both literally and figuratively: I like how this sounds very dark and cold, if I hear this I don't exactly think about two duelling cowboys but more of a walk in the graveyard at full moon or something. The guitar tone really adds to the feel, very well done!
And I don't think that the "different parts don't flow together" as the guy above the guy above me said ^.. Yes, there is a pause between the different parts but every part has the same dark feel about it, they all tell the same story so to speak.. Very good arrangement!
