He's soooo good live.

I talked to the guys from AJJ and I talked to Evan (Into It. Over It. for those who don't know) a bit as well. They were all pretty cool guys.

i kinda feel bad for evan because nobody was really into him. but im pretty sure touring with ajj and frank would be amazing. he is very talented though. but yeah you gotta see frank

I really like Into It. Over It.

It's always hard being the opener though. A lot of people tend not to know you or really care. I think the show I was at was a little different though. Then again it was in Philly and he's apparently from Cherry Hill, NJ originally, so he's probably got more of a following in the Philly area than most other places. Plus he said a bunch of his family was there too.

yeah he was pretty pissed that a bunch of people in the back wouldnt shut up but he was cool about it. i loved his stories between songs tho

Saw Frank last week in Newport, came with my mate who is a massive Frank-fanboy, and I gotta admit he converted me. Epic sing-a-longs to Sons of Liberty, The Road, Eulogy, If I Ever Stray, Love Ire & Song and others.

Also Against Me cancelled so Franz Nicolay filled in, he was pretty epic also.
What is this that stands before me?

Figure in black that points at me...

The Second Three Years isn't being released in the States until January.

I could probably download it, but I want to buy it. I'm more than happy to support Frank by actually buying his music.

Yeah, I find it tough to actually buy his shit. Managed to grab England Keep My Bones though.

I don't think there is a single thing he has done I haven't loved. Seeing him for the second time in May, sooooooo stoked.

Bump because I'm seeing him for the second time live on the 18th and because Frank is just plain awesome.

Wish this song was on the album. It probably wouldn't really gel with the themes of it perfectly, but it's just so excellent it deserves the extra boost from being on the non-deluxe version of the album. At least it's a hidden gem (amongst many other hidden gems) in the second three years I guess.

Tonight in Melbourne bitches. AWWWWWWWW YEAH. I was going to say 'I hope he plays x' but I have an infinite number of favourites. I'd type Long Live The Queen, then backspace and type Pass It Along, and on and on ad infinitum.

He certainly has an interesting touring schedule.. he played gigs in southern ontario already but goes to australia before coming back here to play in toronto. that doesnt seem like very efficient planning there

I heard he's retiring the ballad of me and my friends. sad face, thats like the perfect live song

Maybe his manager doesn't own a world map. Anyway, he played a couple of new songs which were awesome, and he covered 'oh my sweet carolina' which was good but I don't know if anyone should ever cover Ryan Adams.

Drive. I'm tempted to drive there myself and I live in a different country.

I love Larry almost as much as I love Frank Turner.

You should be mad at yourself. That was an awesome show. I was there for the last night of the tour.

Joel Plaskett sucks and so does the vast majority of his friends who came to that show. Too cool to sing along (even when Frank was desperately trying to involve the majority of the crowd) and too cool to enjoy the song outside of a hella-sick artsy clap we all pulled off.

I didn't mind though. I headed with the rest of the drunken Frank Turner fans to the front. We had our little corner in the left, and that little corner in the left was what a proper Frank Turner gig should be. We sang, danced, shot the shit, made friends, and just generally enjoyed life for an hour. He played a new song that he apparently has never played live before and just finished, which was great (was having too good of a time to take a video, but I'm sure somebody caught it).

Joel Plaskett sucks ass and so do his fans. sat around and did shit all until their mediocre east coast fag came out to play his middle of the road, been done a million times bland trash. I was hoping he'd at least have a proper newfie/cape breton vibe in his music, I would've loved that. Left annoyed halfway through his boring set.

I am totally going to drive out to see him w/ Larry opening once I decide the best places to do it at. I love Larry and his Flask and I adore Frank Turner and seeing them with a proper crowd at a proper venue is going to be so perfect.

That's the end of the wall. Sorry, I'm a bit drunk and have nothing better to do atm since Joel Plaskett was such an utter waste of time.
