Depends on the site you buy it off, you CAN set it up yourself, but if you're not confident then take it to a shop.

Well, I would set it up, it would be best to do that with all new guitars, it's more than likely that there is a little problem that can be fixed.

So yeah, I would do it. If you aren't sure how to do it, look at the countless tutorials on the web, or take it in to a shop.
