I'm looking for some songs to improvise over with the A Minor pentatonic. Any suggestions? Blues and rock please, no metal.

Stairway to Heaven, Black Dog...sort of..., Freebird up a whole step...this is alot harder than I thought it would be...

Look into Led Zepplin songs because I know there are more, I just can't think right now.

You would typically play E7 rather than Em.

I think the recording is tuned down 1/2 step, so the key you hear is G#m (Ab minor if you want to be completely correct, but I'd rather not think of something as the relative minor as Cb major).

3/4's of every song written by blink 182, just throw a cd in and go to town on the a minor pentatonic, it should work on almost every song

Down in a Hole - Alice in Chains. Might be tuned a half step down though.

Babe I'm Gonna Leave You - Led Zeppelin

Hurt - Johnny Cash

Tribute - Tenacious D

Bit of variety there. Some aren't completely in A or A minor, but A minor pentatonic should work.
