Simple concept.
What songs have you been singing to keep your voice in shape if you are a vocalist/backing vocalist/lousy singer?

I'm a backing vocalist in a power metal band, so I have to keep in pretty good shape. Nothing amazing, but it adds to the sound.

Sonata Arctica - Destruction Preventer

Dream Theater - Disappear

Dream Theater - Solitary Shell

Symphony X - Wicked
life is beautifuuuuooooaaaaaal

I'm in a thrash band, and I'm using Desperate Cry - Sepultura as a rough guide for my voice.

System of a Down - Know, B.Y.O.B., Soldier Side, Sugar, Ddevil, War?, Suggestions, Question!, Toxicity, Hypnotize... And almost all of their other ones.

Metallica - Master of Puppets, Enter Sandman, One, and Nothing Else Matters.
I sued Delta Airlines, 'cause they sold me a ticket to New Jersey, I went there, and it SUCKED.

Blind guardian - fly, the bard's song, nightfall, lord of the rings.

Iced Earth - ghost of freedom, melancholy, watching over me, dragon's child

Symphony X - Sea of lies, king of terrors, of sins and shadows

Ensiferum - eternal wait, wanderer

I'm basically going for a low power metal style voice, although I'm slowly being able to hit higher notes.

Dream On - Aerosmith
Neon Knights - Black Sabbath
Holy Diver - Dio

and if I feel really good Flight Of Icarus - Iron Maiden.

I'm not really that good of a singer, but my band can't find one in our shithole of a town . Right now we mostly cover 70's-early 90's rock so a higher voice is helpful. Stretch the range!

I sing along to anything that's playing, if i know it decently well. Alot of stuff I actually have to drop into my octave, as I'm a baritone and my falsetto isn't extremely high (Neil Young stuff is a good example of the kind of stuff I absolutely have to drop)

I've been singing Better Together by Jack Johnson, really fun song, and it isn't too hard. Also, Bubble Toes by him, but I can't do the la's in the chorus.

Songs in my range and i'm trying to improve my "mask" of going from regular voice to falsetto range.

I cant really sing too much, usually just some nirvana, dinosaur jr, the offspring, just mostly grunge and punk.

Sometimes I attempt singing some Alice In Chains or Pearl Jam, usually doesn't go that well....

Its not about the Radio its about talent, the front man has a bigger vocal range than Micheal Jackson and he can sing from heavey metal to high pitched ...No.12 on the top 20 under rated guitarists of ALL TIME...etc
