okay,
i have a marshall MG.
i got it because it was loud and the clean channel sounds really good.
ive never used amp distortion.
i have a boss ds1 as my main distortion,i have the gain tured pretty low.
and,for leads and solos i use a nother distortion.
i usually use one of these,
sd2,Metal zone or a fish and chips eq.
but, none of them do what i want.
what should i get/do to get a really distorted lead tone,
that doesnt screw up my tone?

I hope he gets a blood disease and dies alone and screaming.

I mean that in the nicest way possible of course.

Apart from the flaming you'll get, you should have searched and posted in the Ultimate OD/Distortion/Boost thread and asked there, it was made to cut down on these constant threads.

Have you tried using the od2 with the distorted channel of the amp?
Besides being a guitar player, I'm a big fan of the guitar. I love that damn instrument. Steve Vai
