Still playing the vox? If so, the stock pups in whatever you get ought to be fine, if you put better ones in you probably won't notice the difference.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

yeah, but im hopefully getting a new amp for birthday and christmas(onli a month apart so combined into one) and i want to do this mostly for the experience and gain knowledge of customizing guitars, so this is more for the experience rather than the tone,

That's cool, but I think you'd be better off saving that money and putting it towards the amp. Then when you know what you want to change with that amp then get new pickups.

Replacing pickups really isn't the most interesting custimization project you can do on a guitar. It's really just turning a couple screws and soldering some wires, which is brain dead easy.

Save you money for a better amp like Kevin Saale said.

If it's just to learn on, get the crappiest guitar you can find, remove the pickups, and rewire the thing from scratch.
A crap guitar plus great pickups does not equal great tone.

If you want a cheaper metal guitar, get a second hand Jackson DKMG or an LTD of some sort.

you guys dont understand, i wanna learn how to wire stuff, but from it i want a half decent guitar, im gonna change out the trem, tuners, and other stuff, but all im asking is which pickups are good for that sort of tone, ok just answer that and nothing else

If you want decent pickups for metal and shred, without going boutique, check out Swineshead pickups. The Venom and Xbucker should do you pretty well.
