Basically I'm looking for metal/metalcore/hardcore bands that play in standard E. I say metal/metalcore/hardcore cuz of all those ppl who say a bands not metal or w/e. So yeah, anything like that.

Only one I can think of is Winds of Plague.

Edit: circa 1990's + please!

More like 10%. They usually play in Eb or D.

Bah.

And I shuld've said NEW metal stuff...meaning nuthin from 80's or b4. The band must have been formed 90's plus.

3 inches of blood DOES play in standard, and they've got some fun songs.

All/most of the old school metal bands play standard... barely anyone now-a-days EVER plays standard... so you won't find many metalcore bands playing in anything besides drop C or drop D. The old school thrash metal bands played in a half step below standard (E flat) and its close enough for me to tune down a bit and jam to some slayer tracks.

Most hardcore is in standard or drop D. Shai Hulud and Bane have some great songs in standard.

tons of bands do and why the hell does the time period matter?
