Hey UG,
I don't really know anything about Marshall but I am interested in getting one for their sweet pure sound. However, I was wonder how the JCM 2000 combo rates. I am looking to push the amp hard for the tube like tone for blues and classic/hard rock. Do you think this amp will cut it?

thanx,
Mike

If you want to push it hard why not get a Ceriatone 18watt Marshall clone? Ceriatone amps are clones of vintage Marshalls and will sound closer to one than any current production Marshall. It will have more of the sound you are going for, throw in a Weber Micro mass attenuator and your set.
