I was thinking about getting a cheap acoustic guitar, just something for $150 or under. I know that won't get me very far but I want something that sounds decent compared to my Epiphone Standard II. Any ideas?

Err... it wont sound decent. if you can spend an extra $50 then you'll get something worth buying.

for $150 there is like NO solid top (very imp. for acoustic) guitars, so you'll need to spend a bit more like $200 then u can get the yamaha fg700ms or fg700s

a lot of things could sound decent, i'd just say shell out the money or get a job and wait until you have the money to buy a mid-ranged/high-end guitar, if you can.

remember that you get exactly what you pay for.
