Ok. Ive always played with my guitar on my right leg. I knew about the classical guitar on the left leg kind of thing. Yesterday i watched the live Hollow Years from Budokan by DT and afterwards in the interview things he said that he puts his guitar on his left leg to ensure correct tecnique. a lot of people in this thread too

seem to put their guitars on their left during solos and such? Would this be reccomended and does it really help?

Sorry for the wall of text.

The Myth: Mesa amps were given to us by God, and sound as such.
The Truth: True. God is the CEO and Jesus does QC at Mesa...yup.

I play with my gutiar resting on my left leg, but it is more of a comfort thing. I feel I have better access and vision to the fret board also.

It's all personal preference. There really is no "wrong" way. It is music, do it the way you like.
