Blah blah blah searchbar I know I know answer my question first. Then lock away, I don't care.

But I have a question about Stardock's ObjectDock program. It's beautiful, but after it's downloaded, is there any way to get rid of it?

I wanna get it, but I wanna be able to get back to my normal desktop if anything goes wrong.

It says it's a program to install on the website, so is it the normal Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Remove Stardock?

I am completely stunned, you mean you thought you'd ask before you went to the add/remove programs application and saw for yourself?

Rocketdock is better, and compatible with all the extras for object dock.

Also, it doesn't replace your desktop, it's more of an add-on.

I never thought I'd say it, but Kensai, that post makes you sound mind-bendingly idiotic.

Seriously, read my first post. I said IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG, as in BEFORE I DOWNLOAD IT.

Sorry, I'm not feeling well, I tend to lose my temper quickly when I'm sick.

And I downloaded it and installed it, crossed my fingers, and when it was installed...

Nothing happened.

Now what?

RK Launcher is better than Stardock I've got that and windows blinds running right now to make my xp look like leopard. But you should have no problem getting rid of it if you don't want it.

Get rocketdock. It's easier to use, and its FREE!
I'm sure you pirated ObjectDock anyway, so it's not like it matters.

1: Use Google. It's magic.

2: Why couldn't it be removed?

3: Get RocketDock instead. It's free, does exactly the same thing and uses a lot less ressources.

Objectdock's free as well.

It's Objectdock Plus you gotta pay for (which I pirated).

Guess I overreacted as well

I'd recommend rocketdock before objectdock, it feels like it's less bloated and it looks real nice.

QFT: I've got both. I *ahem* "acquired" OD+ to see if its tabbed dock was any good. It wasn't worth the money I didn't pay for it

Get Rocketdock, and then if you need to subdivide your dock with lots and lots of programs, get the stacks docklet, looks much cooler.

Once again RK Launcher is the way to go.

Does it do any tabbed/subdivided areas? I might give it a shot.

Did you torrent windowsblinds? When I did I had to activate some weird thing that comprised my computer's security.

Yeah I torrented it and it hasn't done anything with my security.

Yeah you can tab and subdivide in it.

Didn't it demand an activation key or something like that?

Nice. I'll try it.

Oh, and Kjell, I tried using Windowblinds too, and it looked nice for a little while, but don't bother. The Windows themes on dA are much better, and WB eats RAM.

It did but my version came with a patch and then it never asked again.
