What are everyone's opinions on the amp?

I, personally, have the GG-25, and LOVE it. It gets a good "old rock" sound, but with an OD pedal, this thing turns into a little demon. It sounds GREAT! Only problem is it doesn't have sustain for notes... but hey, it's a solid state.

I've heard a few people mock these amps, and refer to them as "crappy SS amps".
But they're pretty good, imo.

So, what does UG thing of them?

From just a quick look they look like cheap, low end practice amps

Bingo! We have a winner!

The pawn shop wouldn't even give me 20 bucks for mine.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

I've played one, it was the worst amp I ever played. Ten times worse than a MG10 or a Frontman. Just awful.
