What would you consider to be the best live songs? Sorry if this has been done before.

But I would have to say:
Paradise City by Guns N Roses, especially in the outro.
Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd is always amazing.
Hollow Years by Dream Theater always has awesome extended solos by John Petrucci.

I could probably name a heap more but those were the first to come to mind.

'move to the city' by GNR always has an awesome jazz/blues improv from the backup band, and is just a great live song in general

that and 'rocket queen' .....the build up to the talkbox solo is pretty great

The live version of Close to the Edge by Yes is awesome, maybe better than the original. Also the live version of Rainbow in the Dark by Dio is very good, it's a half step down.

Queen has had some excellent live performances.

The main one that comes to mind is especially their Freddie Mercury tribute concert, must've been in like 1992.

They played "Tie your Mother Down" as the very first song, and I think it was Slash that joined in with Brian May.

Keep On Rocking in The Free World on the G3 Tour with Satch, Vai and eric Johnson I think it was.
