The add says...."The amp is not pick up the gain, as loud as b4."

I wonder if it just needs new tubes?

He's like 20 miles away from me....hmmm...?

Thanks, Goolz!

Tube n00bz, lol.

Either way, for 100 bucks?

If I'm in So Cal in the near future, we have to jam dude. Especially if you grab that Laney. Been wanting to try one for a while.

^It's the product of procrastination, lack of cable television, inability to play guitar late at night under any circumstances, lack of non-music material I want to acquire, and incurable GAS.

Or maybe its that, secretly, you're a superhero and your superhero power is the ability to find great deals on Craigs list and save the average Joe a ton of money by purchasing the gear that you find.

^It's a bird. It's a Plane. No, it's...

Edit: Where the heck is 311? He's pretty adept at finding steals too.

d00d, I would get that if I had the moniez.

For my RATM leanings.

^For reals. Must be in Santa Ana.

JMP for the win.

You sure are one happy boy today Stevo. Why not make a thread with some examples of what used gear goes for? I'm sure it would be helpful a lot of lurkers as well as members. Sure if people just post their stuff it would become spam - I understand that. But there is a value to the thread.

yes, yes i am

i hear your point though, in theory its a great thread, but itll take the cunning of 7 foxes to keep people spoiling it

i'd make a gear price thread but i dont know enough about ised gear prices for it to be anygood

for the record the JCM600 is an OK amp, just dont expect it tobe a cheap JCM800, its much mellower, great cleans, great OD and crunch, cant really do metal though.

and the controls are on the top and people might think its the MG head

Well, the main thing is that it educates people of the market and keeps them from getting ripped off.

Noice.
OK, occasionally I do. But blues and rock FTW.

My kind of metal sounds best through non master volume Matamps and Laney's anyway.

http://harrisburg.craigslist.org/msg/820281625.html Mig 50 head? Not so sure $500 is a great deal tho.

It's as bit rich for the amp, but they are hard to come by.

I'd try to get him down to 4 and then give him 450 if I could.

Migs are great amps.

sheez - while I found those I ran across at least 5 Peavey Classics of varying configs for under $500.

Yeah. If I hadn't recently cured my amp itch, I'd be on that like white on rice.
I'm putting my GAS on hold
for a couple months in order to pimp my ride.

Don't judge me.

I swear I see the best deals in Nashville. Detroit also has some great deals. Can't really just jump in the car and wonder off to SoCal so I don't check but, obviously the orange county site is pretty good too.
