i have recently become interested in orchestral music and i wondered if anyone could recommend me some modern orchestral stuff(i mean the really mad and musically complex stuff, lots of time changes and key changes and dissonance)

thanks in advance

Igor Stravinsky's the Rite of Spring as an obvious choice

Mahler's 10th "unfinished" symphony is also quite nic as is Das Klagende Lied

You may also like Carl Orff's Carmina Burana.

but really, really modern stuff, I am not sure about, I wait for other replies with much anticipation.

If you're into some Electronic stuff also then I recommend Venetians Snares' albums "Rossz Csillag Alatt Született" and "My Downfall". Some great orchestral pieces mixed with breakcore beats.

most things by muse- micro cuts, butterflies and hurricanes, take a bow, blackout, apocalypse please.
they all follow romantic composers, liszt, chopin, rachmanninoff etc.
