so soon im getting a new amp and i was just wondering what is better.
i want a good amp that wil last a long time, i only play guitar in my bedroom anyway so what is a better investment?

If you play in your bedroom, most valve amps would be too loud for such a situation.

I'd say get a nice SS amp, maybe a Line 6 Flextone, or a very small valve, and some pedals for it, like a Epi Valve Junior or something.

well my budget would probably be about 400 pounds
i already have a distortion pedal and i was thinkin about maybe gettin a peavey classic

The peavey classic series are very good amps. You may want to invest in an attenuator in the future. It is not nesecary at all, but if you want to the get the most out of those tubes without destroying your ears it is a great move. Just something to keep in mind for the future.
