first, i have used the searchbar, i saw nothing on the first page and don't feel like reading page after page of it. i googled it and found out that it was made some time between 1982 and now... big help

the serial is v119110. on the fender website it says that this is an american vintage series and was made between 1982 and the present. well... that doesn't help me really. anyone know how i can actually date my guitar to the exact year?

well please stay on topic... but... are you talking about my strat or my jackson? (look at my sig)

strat is only for sale if you are willing to pay $10,000+ lol

(aka not for sale)
"The only way to definitively date U.S. instruments with "V"-prefix serial numbers is to remove the neck and check the butt end of the neck heel for a production date, which may be stamped or written there."
Straight from the product dating page, right above the v section.
