hi dudes, i'm interested in playing songs with a low tuning (B or A) and i know for this i need heavier string gauges. but i wonder, is there another thing to do ??? i never got my tuning lower than drop C so do i need to do a truss rod adjustment or something ??

thx for answers

if you increase your gauge, the neck will bend more.

how much so, depends on the weight of the strings, the type of guitar, and the tuning it's played.

so, if you want to experiment with alt tunings you'll need to read up on truss rod adjustments, or post back after you swap out the strings, and go over what problems you've got.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
