I have a really cheap electric laying around the house and the action is so high it almost makes it impossible to play. I have got the bridge as close to the body as possible by tightening the springs at the back. Is there anything else i can do to make the strings closer to the fretboard. I have no experience in changing/ adjusting guitars so sorry if this is a stupid question.
Any help would be appreated
If the bridge is as far down as it can go, then you probably need a truss rod adjustment to tighten out the bow of the neck. Or maybe the strings are too thick for the tuning.
Guild DV-4 Acoustic
Fender Standard Telecaster Ash MIM
Fender Vibro Champ XD
Depends on the guitar - which is what? I would post here:
