Sure, plenty of people play their guitars through bass amps, but has anyone tried (or know someone who's tried) playing a guitar through bass effects? Do they work on a guitar amp?

Hmm... that's a good question. I'd also like to hear what it does.

...although it won't surprise me if they just sound worse or the same as regular pedals.

Uh. I've done it, and it doesn't really sound any different. It's not great, though.
I'm putting my GAS on hold

same thing, says bass on it. Been there, done that. Don't waste the money so something says bass on it.

I used to play thru a bass amp with my guitar, and it could never get any high end, so I wouldnt even advise playing through a bass amp let alone the fx
