I'm looking for an acoustic in the 300-350ish range. It can be 400 just after taxes and stuff. Anyways im pretty sure i've narrowed it down to

or

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Silver-Creek-D170-Solid-SpruceRosewood-Dreadnought-Acoustic-Guitar?sku=512726

ive never played or heard of silver creek. but the fact that its solid wood everywhere intrigues me.

can anybody suggest which one between the two and also throw out some more acoustic models?

I've heard good things about silver creek. All solid wood construction for under $400 is pretty insane.
Equipment:
- Art & Lutherie Cedar CW (SOLD! )
- Martin D-16RGT w/ LR Baggs M1 Active Soundhole Pickup
- Seagull 25th Anniversary Flame Maple w/ LR Baggs Micro EQ

^ Agreed

Plus it comes with an awesome case! How can you go wrong? I mean, if you don't like it you just send it back right?
