This is probably going to end up being a stupid question once I get an answer to it, but it's better to know than to not.
Ok, so here's the deal. I bought a Bass, a bass amp, tuner, etc....
If I want a guitar down the road, Would I be able to use it through my bass amp and still get decent sound?
I was reading around and saw that you NEVER put a bass in a guitar amp, and I was like, "Duh, common sense." Even the guy in the music store told me that. What they didn't say (I didn't have the guitar idea in my mind) was if guitars worked through bass amps.
(I did read the stickies in here BEFORE posting this)
Yes? No? Idiotic? Been asked before? Post a link.

It works just fine. I do it quite often so I can get a nice clean sound.

2nd question:
How good are "Drive" amps? (brand)

They're absolutely terrible, and rather unreliable.

What happens when you put a bass through a guitar amp?

I tell them that I'm happy with my current church, the church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Then I ask them if they would like to be touched by his noodly appendage.

TS: This is an example of a guitar played through a bass amp. As you can see, the tone rocks hard.

If all you had to go on was the forum you'd think a Decimator could cure noise caused by dodgey stage lighting and restock the ocean's population of sperm whales

There are no genres in metal that end with "core."

Sounds really good. As far as I know, bass amps dont have built in distortion like in the video.. how does he get that tone?

Also, aren't bass amps transistor?
