Hey guys, got a opinion question here on what I should buy first. I really want a older Gibby classic, I mean they got discontinued which sucks, but I want a non chambered one. My Les Paul studio is pretty good, however; its not a real Les Paul. I want one thats like hanging a cinder block around you. But now I think that a Vox ac15 would be great because It can do some stuff better then my Marshall JCM2000 DSL401 which is awesome though so much better then the mg I had previously. So I don't really play much outside of rock/metal/hardrock. But to get some sweet vintage tones I think the AC15 would be cool. Not too big, and it's not SUPER loud if I wanted to crank it a bit.

So what do you guys think?. Oh I have like 7 guitars and Only 2 amps. My Marshall and my Micro cube. Plus I do play in this band thing(it's basically a concert band) once a year for my music teacher. It's all clean obviously so I think a ac15 would be awesome for that too.

I think you have enough guitars. The AC15 sounds like a great idea.

the ac15 is not for rock/metal/hardrock

The ac30 how ever can do classic stuff/rock and metal with an OD (possibly)

Oh I know that ac15's are NOT good for metal/rock etc. I think I want to break the mold a bit, and the cool classic rock tones are godly IMO. Plus this amp has much better cleans, But I'd still use my Marshall. I agree I have WAY to many fricken guitars. The Gibson is the ONLY other thing I'm interested in. Maybe I might buy a nice steel string acoustic but I can wait a long while on that.
