Looking for something around Michael amott of arch enemy wah sound. He uses a rack crybaby model, which is overkill for my needs. I was looking a the Crybaby with fasel inductor, does that one still have the tone suckage I hear about so much?

Try a crybaby from hell or a 535q. They handle high gain well and should sound similar to a rack crybaby.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

Ive read some reviews on the crybaby from hell. It looks like a safe bet to me. I love that boost feature, very useful.

Have a look at an Ibanez Weeping Demon. They have a bad rep for some reason, but I haven't played a better high gain wah.

If all you had to go on was the forum you'd think a Decimator could cure noise caused by dodgey stage lighting and restock the ocean's population of sperm whales

The Weeping Demon is great - I've used one for a couple years now.

However, I do have to admit that it sucks a good bit of tone - so if you're trying to avoid that then the WD-7 is not the way to go!
